Enhancing customer engagement and retention by integrating point-of-sale data into Salesforce

As Sam Ash, a music retail chain, has expanded over the past 97 years, to 46 Sam Ash Musical Instrument Megastores in 16 states, they realized they were in desperate need of a CRM. Working with a Salesforce Consulting partner, they successfully implemented Salesforce as their CRM. 

However, they still needed a way to integrate all their point-of-sale customer information from each retail location as well as online, with Salesforce. The Salesforce Consulting partner recommended Lingk to help set up and support this integration with the Lingk Cloud Data Integration Platform. On a nightly basis, Lingk recipes transform between 175k and 750k records out of their POS systems, then load them into the account object in Salesforce. This integration has enabled Sam Ash to enhance their customer engagement channels and significantly improve customer retention.
